Big Brothers Big Sisters is a nationwide organization whose mission is to strengthen communities by fostering one-on-one mentoring relationships that help children realize their potential. BBBS recruits community volunteers to serve as mentors to at-risk youth in need of a positive, caring adult role model.
We are honored to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Brazos Valley with time and funds. Read about how you can help below.
Each Spring, we host Giving to Light Others’ Way to raise money for our philanthropy Big Brothers Big Sisters of Brazos Valley. The event features live music, local vendors, food trucks, interactive games and prizes. GLOW is a great opportunity to bring the community together as we partner with local businesses and offer a space for friends and family to relax and have fun!
Check back in Spring 2024 for all things GLOW!

SERVE AS A MENTOR
BECOME A BIG
Big Brothers Big Sisters is always in need of caring, dedicated mentors for children around the United States. No matter your background or life experience, you can make a difference as a Big in your local BBBS chapter.
“Going into my time as a Big for BBBS, I found myself nervous that I wouldn’t prove to be a good mentor for my Little Sister. However, upon meeting her and getting to know her, the friendship we developed not only proved to be fulfilling for her but also for me. It will be one of the highlights I take away from my college experience, and I will forever remain grateful for my time as a Big Sister.”
